Harbor Freight T-Handled Hex Key Alignment Block
thingiverse
If you've ever used the Harbor Freight Hex Key Set for any amount of time, you know how frustrating it can be to put a hex key back into its slot. Every time you try, you have to wiggle the handle around just right to get the key through the bottom hole. I decided to print an alignment block that would make putting keys back in their slots a breeze. Once you put the key through the top hole, it slides easily down into the vertical hole of the alignment block, which narrows like a funnel and guides the key naturally into place. I even modeled the bottom hole as a hex shape, so it helps rotate the handle as it drops, ensuring it's perfectly parallel with all the other T-Handles. You don't need to glue the block in place; just keep a few keys sitting in the block, and they'll keep everything aligned with the holders' holes. As long as you have a few keys in the block, you won't need to do anything to keep it in place. The picture of the block I uploaded is shown in two colors: black and silver.
