Hard Case for PZ0420 family of FPV Cameras

A series of learning events (aka “crashes”) taught me that the probability of destroying an expensive camera in a crash is almost 100%. When I lost my fourth camera after taking off in dew covered grass (a drop or two apparently fried the board) I decided to make a lightweight ABS case that protects the delicate circuitry AND served as a solid mount on my frame. The case is custom fit to the PZ0420 series of cameras with internal reliefs for the large capacitor and three cutouts on the rear for the connection and communication ports. The lens hole fits the standard 2.8mm lens and can be easily enlarged for the larger lenses or the RMRC f1.2 night vision lens. You can zip tie it, CA glue it, or press fit it into most frames with little or no sanding. In over 18 months of using this (and experiencing several more “learning events”) I have not lost a single camera. Frames...yes. Arms…motors…antennas….yes. Cameras, no.
