Hard Shell Gum Sucker

This is a Cycles Render of a Sucker in blender. This is the hard shell, gun type, sucker. Sort of like a Blow Pop, but mine is not modeled directly by but rather simply inspired by the Blow Pop type sucker. There are no image textures only Nodes Textures, Shaders, and Mixers to achieve the look. I tried to keep the poly count down but the nature of a sucker makes it hard too. There a four objects which make up the sucker. 1) An empty which is the parent in order move the entire sucker about. 2) The stick. 3) The gum core. 4) The hard outer shell.
