I needed to reach the high branches of our tree to hook some christmas lights around it. I found this truly universal 3m extending painting pole from Harris in our garage, it had a 3/4" 5 Tooth per inch thread. So I decided to design and make hook that would screw directly onto the top to allow you to lift the Christmas lights up and over tall branches.
