Hashirama Senju (千手柱間, Senju Hashirama) was the First Hokage (初代火影, Shodai Hokage) of Konohagakure, a ninja recognized as a member and leader of the Senju Clan during his time, in addition to the last Reincarnation of Asura Ōtsutsuki. He was known for creating and mastering the Wood Element. He founded Konoha along with Madara Uchiha. He is considered the greatest and most powerful shinobi of his time, coming to be considered the god of the shinobis (忍の神, Shinobi no Kami). [6][4] He was resurrected by Orochimaru in the Fourth World War Shinobi.
