Haslab Bench Pack Cyclotron Base

Haslab Bench Pack Cyclotron Base

This is my design to replace the Haslab cyclotron with a more accurate bench pack design. Scaled to be a direct replacement for the original, it uses the files from the HasLab Spenglers Proton Pack inner cyclotron printable cover set by TheTacobelli (Top holes for screws and Light tray files) and a Cyclotron Cake acrylic lens - Ghostbusters Plasma Series Spengler’s Proton Pack by ImperialTechShopUS both on ETSY. I used 4-40 (M3 equivalent I think?) cap head and button head screws. They were cut down to not pass through the bottom of the cover and into the acrylic plate. Only 4 of the button head screws (3/4in uncut) hold the lid on. (unless you want to screw in 18 screws) The outer ring holes do not interfere with the acrylic plate. 34 Button head and 12 cap head screws are used. The 4 side plates glue onto the 4 flat spots on the side of the base and prevent the base from spinning when tightening the bumper bolt. I used 26AWG silicone wire from amazon. The wire fittings press over the wires and are hot glued. The bench pack uses 3 but I used 8 for a better hold. 3 endcap fittings cover the end of the wires on top. The cable gland hole is sized for 6-16AWG wires to fit. (They appear bigger in the bench pack photos however. Maybe a 14 or 12AWG.) Support on base only. Tacobelli.com has instructions for the LED wiring. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/b1h9zwRP6Jw
