I liked Hasbro's idea of using a quick disconnect on the cyclotron lid. The file contains the design for a threaded adapter and filler ring and requires the purchase of a Foster 2 Series - Coupler, 1/8" Body, 1/8" NPT, (Either p/n 2202-in pics or 2022. These are the fittings used on traps.) and a SMC 4mm Elbow fitting. (Legris Elbow) Heat the brass on the elbow with a soldering iron and pull apart as soon as it allows. Unthread the threaded fitting (2202) or barbed fitting (2022) on the Foster connector and keep the washer in the coupler. The threaded print uses a 9/64th hex wrench to install. Tighten till it bottoms out. Had to trim about 1mm off the elbow to make it sit tight to the coupler. The ring slides onto the elbow, the elbow pushes into the coupler, and the ring is pushed down to fill the gap. Mine was a tight fit so I didn't glue it.
