I was getting ready to film some footage of a repair under my car. I only had the mini tripod you see in the pictures and the hat clip for the GoPro at my disposal. So I found the Microphone to Tripod Adapter Plate (1/4-20 Female to 3/8-16 Male) by Extraverse and used the threads to make something that the hat clip could hold onto and sit on the tripod. Extraverse's threads fit perfectly first go. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3877287 What you see here will work just fine for my use. I'm not sure if this will be useful to anyone else, but heck it only took my 5 minutes to design and an hour to print. Enjoy if you need it.
