This was a project me and a couple of friends undertook during my time at university it is a dimensionally accurate model of a hawker harrier jump jet main landing gear. The reason for choosing the aircraft is it is an iconic British design and the landing gear for it is specifically designed to take loads no other aircraft has to take. I would like to thank Ruwan Karunarathne and Rickson Chow for their part in the design work and also Brooklands museum in Weybridge for allowing us to use their static landing gear to model from.
