HDD Spin Coater spindle adapters and 25x75 Slide Holders

These are parts for a DIY spin coater made from a HDD. If the spindle for your HDD is 14mm in diameter (pretty standard) this should work for you! This is an adapter that fits over the spindle for a hard drive disc and a slide holder for the hard drive disc adapter. It has wings to create negative pressure, forcing the slide to the holder, and (theoretically) eliminating the need for a vacuum or tape while spin coating things on a 25mm x 75mm microscope slide. Also included is a slide holder to fit the adapter for use with a vacuum (if you decide to drill a 3mm hole through the center of your spindle to turn it into a vacuum chuck). It takes an O ring thats a centimeter in diameter and a milimeter wide. Post-Printing Dont forget to remove any supports below the female hexagonal adapter below the plate in the center, and the supports under the spindle adapter.
