I could not have done the changes necessary to fit my camera if the original author had not included his SCAD file. Thank you jridley, you made a good example how it should be. I finished the implementation of the guide pin and added a parameter to move the tripod screw axial (to the camera view), so I could move the camera case 5mm forward to get space where the case has a "belly" for the lens. The guiding pin needs support when printing. So turn the STL upside down in your slicer to to reduce the height of the support. I have not checked the knob. I took the screw including knob from an old tripod as in central Europe you don't get a ¼" screw at a hardware store. So I didn't print it. I printed it in PA (Nylon) as I do not want something at my head that breaks to sharp fragments in a crash. Cams at the head are anyway almost as dangerous as helmets are (remember Michael Schumacher who is a victim of both) so only wear it when you really make video and mount it in a way it can slide off in case of a crash. (This was one of the reasons for me to buy this camera and not a Go-Pro.) You usually keep your head away from obstacles in a crash but if it grows by a camera or helmet you often cannot. Wear glasses and (long fingered) gloves (You always fall on your hands first and they are very fragile to friction.) when cycling, avoid helmets, head cams... (If you don't believe it there are some good articles about that (in German), some are here: https://fahrradzukunft.de/14/ ) Take care the Screw is not to long if so shorten it or you'll crack you case. If you need a solvent for PA it's formic acid. I understand the GPL like this: If you give someone stl files or the print you have to give him the scad (or if you ported it to another CAD program this program's) file too. Beside that you can do what you want, including commercial use.
