Headphone Bracket (Brainwavz HM5)

These are really great headphones with really great sound quality, but after 4 years of daily use, the brackets that hold the cans fatigued and started to break. I'm not sure how many other people have these headphones, but in case the bracket breaks on yours, here's a printable replacement. you will also need a couple washers (5mm inner diameter or bigger) and a small bolt and nut, per bracket. I believe the bolts i used were 1/8", but any size works (long enough to pass through and fit the nut on, but not too long to run into your head or catch on anything on the outside. any diameter, just drill out the hole to the appropriate size manually). the washers are spacers for the pins that go into the cans. I also included the Solidworks file in case anybody wants to do some modifications to the design (you could easily print in the washer spacers for example) or in case anybody wants to use this to make this bracket for any other model of headphones. If you don't have solidworks, it would be a pretty quick change, so let me know the relevant dimensions (distance between pins, height of can, diameter and depth of holes, etc) and I can do it for you. Cheers, and happy listening!
