Headphone Router Buttons

Headphone Router Buttons

thingiverse

This is a two-part button that lets you route headphone cords inside your coat, jacket or hoodie. The button portion is sewn onto the clothing's inside just like any ordinary button. Place the headphone cord between the internal snapping mechanism and the dome enclosure part of the print, then snap it onto the button piece. To get the best routing, start with a button near the inside pocket where your phone or other audio device is kept (that's where the audio jack goes). Move up with a button every 12 inches or so, and finish with one near the back of your neck (that's where the headphone end connects). The print file comes with four buttons - that should be enough for most people. I used three buttons to route my headphones. To take off the headphones for washing, pinch the snap mechanism while pulling up on the dome enclosure. This lets you remove them easily.
