Headphone Spool

Headphone Spool

I wanted to make something I could use everyday and make my life a little bit easier. Since I'm always listening to music, and have to deal with the problem of untangling them every time I pull them out of my pocket, I decided to make a spool for them. I wanted somewhere to store them, where the wires won't get damaged from being coiled too tightly but not too obstructive. Instructions Used Autodesk Inventor to make piece. I filleted all the edges so they are smooth and wont damage the wire casing or headphones and a small slit to feed the wire through when done coiling to hold in place. Used the makerbot to print. One problem with this file is that it is much too small to work, everything needs to be expanded to hold a pair of headphones.
