HeadPlay HD FPV Headset Battery Holder

HeadPlay HD FPV Headset Battery Holder

thingiverse

Yet another battery holder for the awesome HeadPlay FPV Goggles. The idea came to me when I had some issues with the battery and the supplied velcro, I felt that it could easily be improved. Especially with the GoPro mount available. I thought that there must already be some kind of solutions available on Thingiverse and there was (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1150824 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1133100) I liked them but I thought they were not fully using the potential of the GoPro mount. After a few prototypes I came up with this quite simple solution. When the battery is placed in the battery holder it can be securely folded against the backplate of the straps. Tighten the bolt firmly but not to hard and you will be able to open and close without adjusting the bolt. Any resolution and infill will work, but I recommend that you have at least 40% or more infill otherwise there is a slight risk that it breaks when removing the battery(if you have tightened the bolt to much). Any suggestions or for a updated version don't hesitate to contact me.
