Hearing Aid Battery Carry Case

Hearing Aid Battery Carry Case

thingiverse

This is a convenient case to hold extra hearing aid batteries (size 312) in your pocket or purse. I use hearing aid batteries that come six to a packet. After opening and using two, this case will hold the remaining four batteries for future use. The case has detents on the sides of the discs, to make it easy to rotate. By rotating to the four openings, you can either insert or remove individual batteries. Each opening has room for a size 312 battery, plus its tab. After inserting or removing batteries, rotate the disc to the blank position. The discs are designed to have a slight interference, to prevent them from freely rotating when in your pocket. I print the two discs with a raft, with the solid sides of each face down. The raft may not be necessary with your printer. I've been printing it on a Makerbot 2 with the default settings (plus raft) and it comes out well. If you use this design, I would be interested in your experience, or in any problems you may have in printing or its use.
