This is a stand to accompany airforce's Medical Student Heart Model (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:942464). Allows the model to stand complete on your desk. I've included the Solidworks file if you are interested Print Settings Printer: Mendel90 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20 How I Designed This Reverse Engineering sucks I only had the STLs to build the model of. It took a looooong time. Soldiworks could not handle the 50000 faces of the model, so that didn't work. My processing was completed in Meshmixer, then finished in Solidworks First, i simplified the parts. I then took a box, and subtracted the model parts as I wanted them to stand. Next, I cut away the left over bits. Then, I took a negative of this, that looked like a mountain. Reduced this model. To Solidworks: Took a negative in a box to make the final piece. Plus some rounded corners and text.
