I made this for an upcoming Voron project. It's based upon parts I already had lying around. Since I don't had a suitable spring I used a piece of silver "Thera Band ®". But you can use any other elastic band, that is strong enough instead. The "Iron-Clamp" fits my Ersa Multitip 25 soldering iron with a diameter of approximately 23 mm. I made the clamp changeable, so if I ever want to use a different soldering iron, I won't have to print the whole "boom" again Because of the heat, that comes frome the soldering iron, print with heat resistant Filament! <b>Use at your own risk. Soldering Irons are getting very hot and can cause fire!</b> Additional parts needed: 25mm Aluminum Tube approx. 450mm long 10mm Aluminum Tube approx. 130mm Long Piece of plywood. Piece of Velcro tape Piece of elastic band e.g. silver "Thera Band ®" M4 and M3 screws and washers. M4 Threaded inserts.
