Here is the modified text. I was able to reuse some radus excellent y-corners from his Heavy Base i3 to be used on an original sized Prusa i3 Y frame. Current .scad and .stl files are designed for 10mm smoothrods and 10mm threaded rods, but it's easy to modify them in the provided .scad. My actual modification involved closing the bottom gap, removing support for that gap, and making the bottom hole teardrop shaped for the easiest print possible. The parts are really easy to print and incredibly solid. I recommend printing with 20-30% infill so you don't damage them if screwing them on too tightly. Don't thank me; thanks go to radus! (I will add images when I get them mounted this weekend.) Instructions: Depending on how comfortable you are with trusting your printer, you can print 4 at once by duplicating the parts in your slicer software or make one at a time. Printing all 4 at once using standard slic3r settings takes about 3-4 hours; I run with pretty low traveling speeds of 70mm/s. 30% infill provides enough toughness, and 0.3mm layers work just fine. Make sure you have the teardrop shaped holes aligned horizontally before slicing or printing them! They should be correct from the downloaded parts, but may vary in other slicers. Besides the regular vitamins, you will need the following fasteners for smoothrods: 4 x 22-25mm M3 screws 4 x M3 nuts (or Nylock if preferred) This is a really simple print.
