Height-adjustable platform with stabiliser side-arm

Height-adjustable platform with stabiliser side-arm

thingiverse

This was designed for a very specific purpose. This was to balance a rather bulky monochromatic infrared source inside the cramped confines of the vacuum chamber of an infrared spectrometer while trying to jury-rig it to measure fluorescence (it didn't work). This thing is related to this. The platform is height-adjustable by means of a nut and bolt (see pics). The stabiliser side-arm is also height-adjustable, or can be completely left off if not required. It glues to the side of the platform base (a screw is used in the picture). Although made for a very specific purpose, maybe this thing can be of some more generic use to someone.
