height adjustment

This are height adjustable stand offs for my cheap chinese k40 laser machine. They are designed to be hotglued on the floor of the machinebed for the cutting surface to be placed on. the grip ring is to fix the M8 sleeve nut on the M8x55mm bolt. I get around 10 to 15mm difference in height with this setup. NOTE: The cutting surface gets just laid on the stand off. next step is to design a system that allows some sort of fixation of the cutting surface. NOTE: Print height_adjustment_1 on its head to minimize unsupported overhangs. generally scale the parts to compensate shrinkage as the tolerances are very tight. 3% gave me the best result for a snug fit.
