The helecoid focuser fits on all 8" Newtons with 203 mm steeltubes (without changing the lenght of the tube!) You need: 1x Pixco M65-M65 helicoid 1x 2" eyepice Tube (50mm long) (please adjust the hole in the eyepice tube adapter yourself. Make half a mm wider as necessary!) 1x 9,5mm ball catcher and some 52mm to 48mm step down rings for the filter slider 4x 3mmx25mm screws 4x 3mmx20mm screws a bit two-component adhesive to fix the single parts Print all parts with 2mm thick walls to make it stiff enough!! Pic 1: 65mm-65mm helicoid Pic 2: 2" eyepice tube, 9,5mm ball catcher, 52mm-48mm step down ring Pic 3: I designed the base in 3 parts, so there's no support needed. Pic 4: The eyepice tube is glued into the PETG Adapter // The PETG Adapter is glued into the Helecoid (just three little drops of glue between the screws of the helicoid) Pic 5: make the original focuser screws fit the base and fix it on the tube Pic 6: fix the filtercase with 4x 3mmx25mm schrews onto the base // fit in the ball catcher Pic 7: squeese the helicoid carefully into the top plate. (be aware, that the helicoid is screwed completely together) Pic 8: turn it around and give some glue to edges Pic 9: glue the step down ring into the slider Pic 10: The design allows you even thick filters (here my castel UHC, wich is 9mm high) Pic 11: although the china helicoids have a certain thread play, I gave it a go on my 8"f5 foto newton. focusing is really fun and my eos600da was held really secure.
