Hellboy Samaritan Gun

This is Hellboy's “Good Samaritan” gun from the first Hellboy movie. It was modelled using pictures of the actual prop from the film, fan copies and a paper craft model template downloaded and made using card. It is drawn at a scale of 1000:1 to avoid SketchUp clipping issues (i.e. metres instead of mm). It is split into several parts, which have been hollowed out so they are all suitable for 3D printing at somewhere like Shapeways. However, because the real size it would cost around £250 to get it printed (obviously all the parts in the model need to be pulled apart and arranged for the printing process). The locking lever works, which allows the gun to open, the cylinder rotates and the bullets are removable. More work: Add a fixing pin/washer to keep the locking level in place. Make the trigger and hammer moveable. Add rifling to the barrel.
