Helmet Hook

Helmet Hook

I needed a way to hang my motorcycle helmets up. After a quick search I did not see anything I liked so I decided to make a quick one on my own. This is a one part print that (with my settings) should take about 2 hours. Version 2 (as seen and uploaded here) is a bit more refined than the prototype version 1. I'll post pics of each as they come off of the printer. the only difference between v1 (in some of the photos) and v2 is that I added some fillets to round over some corners. After mounting and trying v1 I discovered that my helmets slide off of this without some sort of ridge on the outside of the hanger. I will design one with this feature later, but for now I will probably just glue a bit of an old fan belt or old coolant hose on the outside to do the job. Of course, your mileage may vary.
