Helping Hands Magnificent Extendo-Arm

Helping Hands Magnificent Extendo-Arm

thingiverse

This is a simple modification I've made for my super basic helping hands, which extends the height magnifying glass. it's very helpful when soldering small components, since it holds the glass further away from whatever board I'm working on, giving greater magnification. you can also loosen the screw on the back to adjust the height! It doesn't have stunning good looks, but it satisfies the objective (I'll see myself out)! Requires one no. 6 bolt (you'll have to tap the hole), or self-tapping screw. M3 will also work in a pinch. But that's it! take apart the magnifying glass on your helping hands, insert the extendo-arm, and screw it back together.
