Helping Hands Soldering Holder

Helping Hands Soldering Holder

I found that my helping hands would sometimes tip over, so I made a wider base. While I was at it, I also decided to add a slot for my soldering iron, and additional hands! The soldering iron hole is slightly larger than the other holes since it is meant for that spot in particular. The extra pole that holds the extra hands can be moved between the other holes. Helping Hands I used: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B091L59BX6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ________________________________________________________________________ Printing: I printed it with the flat rectangular side on the bed as to avoid supports. If you have bad bed adhesion, consider printing slower and/or with a raft. This was my first time using PETG so it came out a little rough, it otherwise works great for me :) ****Depending the temperature you keep your soldering iron at, it could conduct the heat down the holder and into the plastic. I haven't had issues with it, but keep this in mind!
