Heltec Tinderbox

Heltec Tinderbox

This is a version of Tinderbox with box and software modified to use Heltec's ESP32 Module with integrated OLED display and battery management. It all works off of a single Lithium Ion cell. For battery power I needed to add a switch for on and off ( 7x7mm push on push off.) Power switch must be on to charge the battery from USB power. It can also be powered from the USB port. I also modified the software to support touch plates; also included are several different formats of the touch plate PCB. The PCB can also be made by hand with a blade and pc board; each plate needs to be isolated from each other does not need to be any particular shape. Even bare wire ends will work. I made to different boxes; one for ESP32 modules with pins soldered in and one for wires attached directly to ESP32 module. As I wanted to make the box useful for other projects the bottoms of the boxes are two pieces glued together. The face of the box is held on with 4 2mm flat head screws. The ESP32 module just snaps into place. All printed in PLA with no support.
