Tiger 1 early version escape hatch, correctIy modelled after blueprints. Original rc tank aftermarket ones are incorrectly molded with slated sides, while this features the correct sharp edged dish-form. I also wanted more realism in my tank and an easy place to shake out foreign objects from within my tank. There are 3 models, one whole assembly in one meant to directly replace the stock one, and a separate hatch and attachment hinge. I cut free my hinge with a heated slim blade from the stock hatch and reused that with my new hatch, but it became too weak and eventually broke. So i designed the hinge too. If you want the working one be prepared for some precision work to the turret to create a hole for the hatch. My dremel was hungry for plastic and thus my hole is not very round, but it works for now. You also need to drill out a hole in the hinge and find something that fit that hole for it to work. I recommend 100% infill for the hinge and 30% for the hatch. I may also add a form of hatch retention clip later, meanwhile you can get creative with steel wire or something in case your hatch moves more freely than mine currently does and doesnt stay up very well.
