Hello Makers. To do: - give some additional informations - update the drawing with missing dimensions Update: 13.08.19: Upload all of the files and pictures. Note: I've never used .dxf before so I uploaded the .step-files to. I've made this improvement quite some time ago but I think you could be interested. Y-Carriage in Action: https://youtu.be/BX6AQ-vMw9A The mainpart is a aluminiumplate with a thickness of 6mm or 8mm. I've used laser cutting to cut the part and the holes for mounting the linear rail. Altough you have to make the threads manually. The four holes/threads on the side to mount the plate have to be made manually as well. For the four MGN9H-carriages you have to drill 16 holes in the original BQ Y-carriage. This mod is designed to fit without any other changes to your BQ Hephestos 2. I've added the STEP-files so you can make your changes and use the dimensions from your CAD to manufacture. Maybe I will upload an updated drawing in the near future.
