Hephestos frame, Z axis adjuster Top
thingiverse
I needed to adjust the Z axis geometry by pushing or pulling on the top of the frame. To achieve this without drilling into the frame, I remixed parts from two existing designs to create a clip-on top part that allows for easy push/pull effort. The modified design includes two top parts, allowing for maximum space between rods and preventing any interference with the construction plate. Each top part clips onto the frame and can be slid to extreme positions, securely locking into place beyond the shape of the frame itself.
