Herman Miller Aeron rear limit cam bumper

This is a replacement bumper for the rear limit cam on a Herman Miller Aeron chair. The piece is meant to fit tightly, and it will not easily slide into the slot on the chair. I used a C-clamp to press it into place which worked nicely. It is difficult to guide it in at first, to make it easier try removing a little material so it can start going into the slot then use the clamp to press it the rest of the way in. I used Inland PLA+ with 100% infill, and set the number of outline/perimeter shells to 8. It has held up well so far with frequent use. There is a tapered and non-tapered version available. The tapered version should make it easier to install.
