Herman Miller Burdick desk end cap

This is a replacement end cap for a Herman Miller Burdick desk that fits on the end of the aluminum rails. The originals had a tendency to discolor and to become very brittle and shatter. This model comes in two pieces for easier printing. Just print the two out, flat side down, and glue the two flat faces together. With some examination you'll notice the faces that align showing you that that they're lined up. I'll try to make a future version with posts for better alignment. The fit should be snug enough for you to align the pins to the machined holes in the aluminum rail, and simply press it in. Some light sanding with high-grit sandpaper will provide more of the matte finish of the original.
