Hero M3 Gen2 E3D V6 Base 2 Redux
thingiverse
I've taken precise measurements of the Hero Me 2 Gen 2 for E3D V6's "Base 2" part, only to find that it refuses to fit properly when printed - at least not without an excessive amount of bending and manipulation required. Determined to create a solution, I set out to redesign this critical component from scratch. Unlike other so-called "remixes" that merely hacked away at the original design, chopping off unnecessary bits, my approach involves crafting a replacement part that fits seamlessly into place, with no need for supporting structures whatsoever. The transparent prototype visible in the accompanying images represents the culmination of my efforts - a fully functional and finely tuned redesign that boasts a snug fit. Meanwhile, I've successfully installed this redesigned "Base 2" part on my Ender3 printer, using the black version shown in the pictures.
