Herringbone Doublesided Rack and Gear (Tetrix Bolt Holes)

This is a rack and pinion system designed to be used with Lego Tetrix parts. The Herringbone design captures the rack and provides support with out the need for rails. The pictures only show the right handed gear. I flipped the gear on the motor so that it would work. In the future I will use the right handed gear. Instructions This is still a work in progress. The openscad file contains as modules for the gears racks and also some other useful tetrix parts. When printed out of ABS on a Makerbot2x the shrink caused the holes on the end of the rack to be tight. You may need to scale if printing in ABS to account for the shrink. I have only printed one rack and have not verified if they will but end to end properly.
