I made this phone holder so it would fit my Samsung s22 with a pop socket. All other phone holders didn't leave enough room for a pop socket. I used a herringbone gear so that the base and gear do not become separated when moving the phone holder. The two pieces snap into place at any angle you want and the gear always stays centered with the base.
