Herringbone Gear Sliced

Herringbone Gear Sliced

thingiverse

A hollow herringbone gear, sliced at a steep angle. An interesting illustration that allows you to see the gear mesh up close (if you print two of them.) The very top might give you some problems, as it's a very small feature. You can just sand that off manually when it's done. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Clone (Monoprice) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Notes: Printed in PLA at .2mm slice size, no supports or rafts necessary. How I Designed This Original gear was in AutoDesk Inventor. Doubled it to make it a herringbone in AutoCAD, then made it hollow and sliced it with MeshMaker.
