This is the LED version of the 20mm Rhombicuboctahedron star from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4936655 An individual LED (3mm variety) can be inserted in each of the 26 spikes. The core has a top and bottom section, which can be assembled (after installing the LEDs) with 2 M2 screws (or just glued). The spikes are glued on afterwards. As with the original star, you need 18 square spikes and 8 triangular spikes. There is a special square spike with a cutout for a cable or USB connector. The top core also comes in two versions, one for a specific micro USB connector board and the other just with a round cutout for a cable. You can fix the cable inside the core with a zip tie.
