Hex bit screwdriver handle

Hex bit screwdriver handle

After unfortunately losing the hand screwdriver that came with my hex bit set, I designed and printed this super basic handle. **It's designed to fit the extension bit pictured. If you don't have one of these this handle is absolutely not what you want.** It was designed with my own printer's inaccuracies in mind (very slightly smaller internal diameters) but I don't believe it's anything too different from standard printers. Straight out of the printer it fit the bit it was designed for *perfectly* without filing or sanding and holds the bit snugly enough for it to stay in without any trouble and doesn't pull out when changing bits. Your mileage may vary. I accidentally printed it with only 20% infill, more is probably better, but it's been working fine for at least 6 months now with no sign of fatigue. This is PLA.
