Hex Cube
thingiverse
A 15mm die features six trigrams instead of pips on its six sides. Among the eight possible trigram combinations, two pairs are ambiguous without knowing the orientation, thus only six trigrams are used. This print does not require supports as it is made with PLA directly onto an acrylic bed, eliminating the need for a raft and ensuring a better finish. The Mk2 design corrects the orientation of two faces for aesthetic reasons and was initially designed at approximately 60% scale, which has since been corrected.
