Hex Side Spool Holder

<p>An easy-to-print design for an external side spool holder for the Ender 3 and similar printers.</p><p>It can be used by itself, as free-standing, or to further support the stock black spool holder when mounted on the side with a 3D printed bracket.</p><p>Sometimes, the bracket breaks or cracks as it is subject to torsion by the leverage of 1kg spools, so this helps relieve that stress and redistribute the weight.</p><p>This external spool holder also helps when using small filament samples that don't come with a roll.</p><p>It has 2 models, print the one marked 2x twice, no need to mirror it. Insert them in the spaces shown.</p><p>It's meant to use the printer's stock spool holder tube, but you can add your own pipe (3D printed, PVC, cardboard, etc) if you want.&nbsp;</p><p>It is designed with the characteristic hexagon style of Prusa ;)</p>
