Hex Tiles Connector/Fastener

Hex Tiles Connector/Fastener

Not a particularly practical nor pragmatic idea in the end - but here's a fastener that allows you to join hex tiles for your games so that the hexes would kind of lock-in with each other. # Not Really A Smart Idea… The main reason I say it might not be the most pragmatic idea would be that: 1. You'll need to print quite a lot of these fasteners to give sufficient coverage for games like Catan 2. It'd probably prolong set up time. Might still be useful in certain use cases (say, a game w/ just 7 hexes, or… I dunno, artistic purposes?) - or there could be some other uses for this design. Lemme know if you have ideas :). # Design Goals 1. Mainly as a portable means to give structure to hex-based tile games (vs having big hex frames which may be unwieldy) 2. Minimize harm to tiles - no part of the print will bite into the cardstock, relies on snug sandwich fitting to hold everything in place Source FreeCAD file included (requires version 0.17), open the "var" spreadsheet to modify parameters. # Updates 2018-05-26: Bug fixes, correct STLs being loaded for the push pin connectors
