Hex to Square Drive Adapters

Hex to Square Drive Adapters

Since I couldn't find any of these on Thingiverse, I decided to make my own. These are adapters that allow the user to fit standard 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8" square drive sockets into a 1/4" hex tool, such as a screw driver holder or impact wrench. I would recommend printing them solid for maximum torque capacity and with a very strong filament such as ABS or PETG. I haven't as of writing this printed them out to test them, but they may be fun. WARNING: This is just a fair warning to let you know that if you get a piece of plastic stuck in your impact drive, I am not in any way responsible. UPDATE: I have redesigned the drive adapters to include the notch that retains the bit in an impact driver. As the addition of the notch reduces the strength of the part, I have included the old files. I also slightly reduced the size of both male parts to fit the tolerances of my printer.
