Wrote a tool in Maya to automatically generate hexagonal forms based on low-poly quads. This vase was my second test with the tool. Instructions Printed with "medium" settings in Makerware, on my Makerbot Replicator (1): Printed on removable lexan platform. HBP off. Extruded Neon Blue PLA @ 230 deg. 200 micron, 10% infill, 2 shells. No support needed. Took 8hr 40 min to print.
