HexaFloat - Modular Boat Design

HexaFloat - Modular Boat Design

thingiverse

A platform designed to help you understand how changes in mass affect the center of gravity and buoyancy of an object. Detachable cups also allow mass to be added on various sides of the boat, as well as act as floats. After you're done with your experimentation, print out some mounts and turn your boat into a tri-copter! Update 5: Yet another version! This time of the Hexapod core, with a flat base (for those with puny printers, or a low tolerance for waiting around like me) Update 4: Added another version of the arms, this time with a rectangular extension away from the main HexaFloat core. Update 3: Added a version of the arms that doesn't have an extension away from the main HexaFloat core. Update 2: Added mounting holes for HexaFloat arms. Update: Revision fixed scaling issues in design. Scaled up from original by 700% (old version couldn't even hold a penny D:)
