Chainmail designers have cleverly employed hexagon plates on one side and interlocking loops on the other, yielding a robust and visually appealing outer surface. Moreover, these hexagon plates effectively limit the bending of the sheet about its plated side. By scaling down the size of the plates, makers can enhance flexibility.
