Hexagonal Board Game Storage Box

A storage box for your favorite hexagonal game. Use the box to store your pieces, and when you're playing, pop the cover out and invert and insert into the bottom to make a spinning base. Fan out the sides of the box to hold your game cards in six separate and distinct receptacles. Such excitement! Instructions Assemble these pieces to build a storage box for your favorite hexagonal game pieces (see other collection). Use the box to store your pieces, and when you're playing, pop the cover out and invert and insert into the bottom to make a spinning base. Fan out the sides of the box to hold your game cards in six separate and distinct receptacles. Parts have been kitted to 110mm x 110mm build tiles for my Up! Mini. 2mm spacer pins have been added to downward-facing surfaces to allow adequate raft for derafting from the pallet. Cut these off with gate cutters, lightly sand and vapor-polish. Bond the three cover thirds to the cover core and the three base thirds to the base core (I used acetone, cyanoacrylate also works well), and snap the six sides onto the six receivers in the base. Add small (0.25" dia x 0.1"thick) cylindrical rare earth magnets to the top inside corners of the swinging sides to pull them together... this is optional but a nice touch. For mine I color-coded the sides to the five game colors plus a neutral color for card sorting. You'd have to break up the kits to do this... I put them in the most efficient configuration for printing on a Mini. See you down the pub!
