Hexapod Robot Body and Legs

Hexapod Robot Body and Legs

thingiverse

This is what I have so far. i am posting it as my first post to Thingiverse. I will add to the description, etc. as I gain more experience with the web site. The hexapod uses 12 MG90 or SG90 Microservos. The picture shows the assembly with Tower Pro MG90S servos. The SG90's are slightly smaller, but will likely work equally well. The space in the middle of the robot is sized to accept an Arduino UNO and mounting holes are present in the design. See here for additional info: http://wiki.themakerstation.com/Robotics_Hexapod_Kit If you want me to print the parts for you, go here: https://www.3dhubs.com/atlanta/hubs/wayne Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 mm Infill: 20 % Notes: All was done with ABS. I have not tried PLA or any other material. Post-Printing Finishing Steps I treated some of the parts with acetone to improve the strength of the ABS in the weak direction. I also used a drill bit to ream some of the holes to a more uniform internal diameter.
