The robot stood motionless, its digital eyes fixed on the human form before it. The human's features were indistinct, shrouded in a hooded cloak that seemed to swallow all light around it. As the robot watched, the human's body began to shift and contort, its limbs elongating like rubber until they were almost twice their original length.
