UPDATE-1/31/2016 The two lateral supports were broken maybe due to two heavy rolls of filament. I printed again with the same model at 100% infill. Though it took some time to print, but it can support heavier rolls now. The spool holder comes with the Hictop Prusa I3 was not attached to the printer. I prefer the type that filament was fed vertically. Then I designed this one. You can change the thread size for the horizontal rod, and also the spool cylinders. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 0.35mm for layer height Notes: For the rod, you might need some raft due to low adhesion on small printing area, and also a higher infill for a stronger print. Other than that, I used 5% for other parts.
