This is a crucial part that enables the secure attachment of an inductive sensor to the mounting bracket of the extruder. A major design flaw in my previous sensor mounts was the presence of "single point failure" zones, where the entire structure would collapse if one weak link gave way. My goal with this new design is to effectively utilize the often-overlooked top mounting screws on the sheet metal bracket to provide stability and support to the arm. To complete this project, you'll need to remove a screw and have it custom-sized at your local hardware store, as I plan to insert mine from the rear.
